Youth Ministry

The Youth Ministry at ZCCC provides a program for youth from their infant years through high school. The purpose of the youth ministry at ZCCC is to REACH out to all youth so they can KNOW Christ and His church, to help them GROW in their faith, equipping them to go and impact the world using their spiritual gifts to SHOW others the way to Christ.

SUNDAY MORNING OPPORTUNITIES

Every Sunday Morning Bible School classes are offered for every age (from infant - 12th grade) at 9:45 a.m. The emphasis of these classes is to help young people grow in the likeness of Christ as they go through His Word!

After Bible School there is Children's Church for children that are 2 years old - Kindergarten. This service takes place in the fellowship hall or in one of the classrooms. It's our goal to teach children about the Bible in a creative and exciting way that will encourage them to live for Christ.

Sunday Evening

Each Sunday evening we have a youth program designed to help youth understand how to build a solid foundation of faith in God that can't be shaken!

AND THERE IS MORE......

In addition to our regular weekly schedule, we get together to do tons of other great stuff like:

Concerts, retreats, sports outings, movies, camping, service projects, pizza parties, conventions, and much more!

This ministry exists for YOU! We believe that God made YOU and put YOU here on earth for a special purpose. We want to help YOU find it!

Not only is our main focus on Christ, but we plan realistic events that are affordable and family friendly. We know the importance of family so we try our hardest to make our events and activities flow around ball schedules, vacations, etc. Most of our events are broken into two age groups. Kindergarden through 5th graders and 6th through 12th graders.

Our events and activites are a great way to grow in a better relationship with the Lord and your own family!

Getting involved is actually pretty easy. Keep up with the upcoming events (you can find them in the annex, in the newsletter, bulletin, on the webpage, and the youth calender) and then find out what you can do to help in one of those events. Here is an example of some things you can do:

Sign-up to bring food or drinks

Host a youth activity

Help out with children's church

Drive for youth outings

Chaperone a youth outing

Send birthday cards

PRAY for our students

The list dosen't end here! There is so much to be done in our youth ministry program. If you don't know where to begin just ask and we will help you find your spot.

The most important part of youth ministry is to bring students to know Jesus Christ on a more intimate level. this means that the first job of the youth minister to be a mentor to the sudents, one they can look up to for spiritual guidance. The second job of the youth minister is to be a friend and counselor; one who can be trusted.

Spiritual growth is built on the relationships built inside and outside the classroom. Through relationships, others can be brought to know the good news of Christ!
